45th Anniversary Open House

I want to personally thank everyone that attended our 45th Anniversary Open House at our ministry office. This was the first time in our 45-year history that we have had this type of event, meeting our partners and supporters in such a warm setting. I was surprised to learn from so many of you that you had no idea we had 6 separate shelters in Orange and Riverside counties. I was thankful that we were able to show you all our facilities during our tours.

Many of our alumni were in attendance and had a great time sharing their stories. Our office staff and shelter managers had so much fun leading tours and answering all your questions. It was a great opportunity for us to share our own personal experiences about the moms and kids we serve.

As the Director, I was blessed to hear your wonderful compliments about how organized the event and offices are. I give all the credit to our staff who work hard every day of the week. We also loved hearing your enthusiasm in desiring to make this an annual event so, if you weren't able to attend, please keep up with our newsletter for future gatherings.

In closing, I'd like to share that since the beginning, the Sheepfold's mission has been the same. For the last 45 years, Jesus and the Word of God have remained at the center of our program. We will continue to share the Good News with each mother and child that walks though the doors of the Sheepfold, that is our promise to you our faithful supporters.

God Bless,

Would You Like To Adopt A Family for Christmas?

At Christmas we provide a joyous and Christ-filled holiday for the women and children staying at the Sheepfold. We are able to do this with the help of individuals and companies who generously donate gifts or participate in our Adopt A Family (AAF) program.

Adopting a family means providing a portion of the gifts a family receives Christmas morning. When you call or email, you will be provided with information which includes an AAF number (to protect the family's identity), ages, sizes and gift suggestions from a family's Wish List.

The deadline to drop off the unwrapped gifts for the AAF program is Monday, December 9th. This allows us enough time to organize, wrap and transport the gifts to the homes for Christmas morning.

Please call (714) 237-1444 or email andrea@thesheepfold.org to participate in the AAF program or for more information. You may also check our website for our Registry or general Gift List.
